Who we are
Established in 2025, Mulga Airport Ops is an airport operations and airline ground handling business based in the heart of outback Queensland. We understand the unique challenges faced in rural and regional aviation, including limited resourcing, labour shortages and gaps in required skills.
We are passionate in supporting aerodrome operators to facilitate safe and reliable air travel for all communites.
Meet the owner, Daniel Jones
Daniel brings extensive expertise in airport operations management, with a particular focus on regional, rural, and remote aerodromes.
He has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced in these environments including resource constraints, limited access to materials and skilled personnel, restricted funding, and geographic isolation from major centres.
With over 15 years of aviation experience, including 7 years in airport operations management at regional airports, Daniel offers proven capability in addressing complex operational, management, and compliance issues, delivering practical and sustainable solutions tailored to the needs of each aerodrome.
Daniel's qualifications include a Bachelor of Aviation, commercial pilot licence and flight instructor rating, and a Cert II in Transport Security Protection.
